i just wanted to fill him up with any old food so that i could level him up and give him the new gift i just unlocked ....... but no, i had a surprise cutscene out of absolutely nowhere.
and by complete accident, the one character who is perfect for shooting a massive super laser out of his one eye, is our one and only beloved shockwave. couldn't ask for a better first time viewing this cutscene.
